The Grackle Noseband puts pressure on the horses nose, where the straps cross, and helps prevent the horse from crossing his jaws. This Grackle has a synthetic centre pad.

Also known as the figure of eight, this noseband takes its name from the winner of the 1931 Grand National. The Grackle should be fitted snugly so that the top strap goes around the horse’s jaws above the bit, resting just below the facial bone, while the lower strap passes below the bit, keeping the mouth closed.
