The Hollow Mouth Jointed Snaffle acts on the tongue and the corners of the mouth. The loose rings of this bit allow it to move more freely in the horses mouth.

The Hollow Mouth Jointed Snaffle can be fitted slightly wider than the eggbutt snaffle, and if required can have rubber bit guards fitted over the rings to prevent it from pinching the corners of the horses mouth. A very popular, mild and light weight bit, available in a wide size range.
This bit is Dressage legal.
